• Step 2: Write your E-comment and submit! We recommend submitting here - Facilities Master Plan. 

• Not sure what to write? 

  • Share your name, your child's age and school (or your role - what school you are at and what grade you teach/what you do). 

  • Talk about how it felt for you or your child in classrooms during the heat. Describe the physical and mental impacts of the heat. 

  • Talk about efforts you took to keep your child cool. 

  • Be sure to say: We are done waiting. We must cool our schools before a child pays the ultimate price for OUSD’s inaction. OUSD Board and Superintendent Saddler, what will you be doing THIS SUMMER to cool classrooms across the district?
